GEM have been instrumental in the discovery of numerous quality deposits for various explorers including Nova Bollinger deposit and Jericho prospect. Our ongoing exploration surveys include the Gonneville Ni-Cu-PGE deposit, Mawson Ni deposit, Carr Boyd Ni-Cu project, Cassini Ni deposit and the Yarrawindah brook Ni-Cu-PGE project.

Broken Hill-Ni-Cu-pge Project

IMPACT MINERALS (ASX: IPT) JV INDEPENDENCE GROUP (ASX: IGO)

Located 20km E of the world class Broken hill silver- lead-zinc mine. Covering an area of around 816km2 in the SE part of the richly mineralised Curnamona Province.

Red Hill, Platinum Springs and Moorkaie Prospects show very high grade Palladium and Platinum mineralisation.

JULIMAR NI-CU-PGE PROJECT- GONNEVILLE DEPOSIT

CHALICE MINING (ASX: CHN)

Located in the Avon region of WA around 70km NE of Perth near Toodyay. Gonneville PGE-NI-Cu-Co-Au deposit was discovered in 2020. It’s the largest Nickel sulphide discovery worldwide in more than 20 years and the largest PGE discovery in Australian history.

Julimar state forest exploration is strictly governed by a Conservation management plan approved by the Minister of Environment. GEM are conducting MLEM using HTS. Our Survey practices are governed by the CMP. Wherin the survey is done without the use of vehicles in order to limit damage to the environment. Along with environmental permits and relevant precautions used to limit the spread of die back infections within the area.

Gonneville is located on private farmland within granted exploration licences at the southern end of the interpreted >26km long Julimar Complex. Wherein, the DHEM surveys have required that we often consult with local community members.

ROCKFORD NI-CU-AU-ZN-AG FRASER RANGE PROJECT- MAWSON DEPOSIT

LEGEND MINING (ASX: LEG)

A 3,054km2 tenure located within the Fraser Range district of WA. Comprising 15 exploration licences some in JV with IGO and Creasy Group.

Mawson is a massive Ni-Cu sulphides discovered in 2019.

MLEM and FLEM has been undertaken by GEM across all identified targets across Rockford. DHEM is also being conducted on an ongoing basis to identify potential extensions of new Ni-Cu mineralised zones at Mawson and Octaganal.

KITCHENER FRASER RANGE NI-CU PROJECT- LANTERN AND NIGHTMARCH PROSPECTS

GALILEO MINING (ASX: GAL)

The Northern zone hosts Lantern and Nighmarch prospects. The project is located 230km E of Kalgoorlie accessible via the Trans- Access Road.

YARDILLA NORSEMAN NI-CU-PD-PT PROJECT- EMPIRE ROSE AND YARDILLA SOUTH PROSPECTS

GALILEO MINING (ASX: GAL)

The Fraser Range in WA project covers 602km2 in the Albany- Fraser Orogen. Located either side of the Eyre Highway 100km E of Norseman the Yardilla zone hosts the Empire Rose and Yardilla South prospects.

EUCLA NI-CU PROJECT- SEAHORSE PROSPECT

BHP GROUP LTD (ASX:BHP)

GEM are completing a test survey using HTS, LTS, and Fluxgate.

This is a massive belt scale Greenfields project comprising 26 tenements along a 350km strike length for 13,000km2. In the shape of a seahorse it is located in the SE of WA in the semi- arid Madura province on the Nullarbor Plain about 500km E of Kalgoorlie. Straddling the WA-SA border

Rodona Shear Zone defines the boundary between the Yilgarn Craton (Albany-Fraser Orogen) and the Madura Province. This zone’s trends are similar to the Fraser Zone, which is highly prospective for mafic intrusion-hosted Ni–Cu deposits. The BHP Seahorse project is primarily focussed on intrusion related Ni-Cu and our survey is follow- up to the holes drilled at Hedgehog.

 

Polar Bear project

S2 Resources (ASX: S2R)

The Polar Bear project is located approximately 130 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie and 30 kilometres north of Norseman. Covering an area of 534 square kilometres.

The project covers a significant strike extent of ultramafic stratigraphy that represents the southern continuation of the Kambalda – Widgiemooltha sequence that hosts several world class nickel sulphide mines to the north.

Previous exploration has confirmed the presence of komatiite hosted nickel sulphides at several localities within the project area.

S2 considers the project highly prospective with considerable potential to identify additional accumulations of nickel sulphide mineralisation.

GEM are conducting MLEM using the HTS.

 

WEST KIMBERLEY PROJECT

INDEPENDENCE GROUP (ASX: IGO)

The Kimberley Project in WA is a belt-scale project that is highly prospective for high-value magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide discoveries.

The project spans a Proterozoic belt that has proven magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineralisation that includes the Savannah Mine in the East Kimberley, and the more recent Merlin nickel-copper-cobalt discovery in the West Kimberley which was made by IGO’s JV partner, Buxton Resources.

IGO considers the Kimberley region to be underexplored for nickel. Several other intrusive suites in both the East and West Kimberley remain underexplored for Ni-Cu-Co sulphide deposits by modern techniques, despite evidence that they are also prospective.
